On behalf of the Parish of Keighley.
We join our prayers with those of our nation as we pray for Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family following the sad news of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. We give thanks to God for his life. He has done so much throughout his many years of duty and service for Country and Commonwealth, and has inspired hope in so many young people through the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. We owe him more than we know.
Gracious and holy Father,
give us wisdom to perceive you,
diligence to seek you,
patience to wait for you,
eyes to behold you,
a heart to meditate on you,
and a life to proclaim you.
