At St Mark’s we aim to be a sign of the love and faithfulness of God in our community.
Visitors are welcome to join us at any of our services or regular activities.
As a church we are committed to supporting people practically we have 2 congregations, the first meet at 9.15 a.m. and the second at 6.15 p.m. which offers a more creative, relaxed service.
St Mark’s has an Under 5’s Playgroup which meets Monday- Friday during term time.
Public worship is currently emerging after the Covid-19 pandemic Lock-down. This page gives you a flavour of what would normally take place in the life of this church.
This is a friendly, welcoming service with an informal worship style and a mixture of modern and traditional worship songs and liturgy. There is fortnightly Communion.
This is a lively informal service, with music led by a band and more time given to explore and think about Christian issues and themes. Once a month there is a healing service, and on the last Sunday of the month there is café style discussion service with a shared meal.
3.00pm Family Fun service
This is a family service that meets on the 2nd Sunday of every month, for crafts, talks and food.
9am Wednesday Communion Service
This weekly service includes a time of open prayer and reflection on the Bible reading. There is always good tea, cake and fellowship afterwards!
