Linkage

Linkage facilitates a safe, warm environment for over 55’s to help tackle isolation and loneliness within the Keighley community. We run three sessions a week, Mondays at St. Marks Church, Utley, from 1pm until 4pm where light refreshments and treats are served. Tuesdays at St, Barnabas Church, Long Lee, from 12pm until 3pm, we serve homemade soup and a roll and other light refreshments. Thursdays at St. Johns Church, Ingrow, 12pm until 3pm alongside Nora’s Kitchen, where you can have lunch and hot beverage.

LinkAge has been running almost 6 months and it has been wonderful so far. We have done lots of different activities in this time such as, games day, arts and crafts, exercises, wreath making, card making, quizzes. We have engaged in great conversation surrounding lots if topics and participants are even willing to help in some sessions where they have experience and knowledge.
