St Mark’s

St Mark’s is a church deeply embedded in the community of Utley, Keighley.

St Mark’s is often known as the pink church, since we have a beautiful pink carpet throughout the church, that ensures a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Worship Times:

The main Sunday service is at 9.30am.

Communion takes place every first and third Sunday of the month

Every second Sunday at 3 o’clock there is a family service. This includes crafts, action songs, a Bible story and is followed by a picnic tea. Our next 3pm service is on Sunday 10th March.

Every third Sunday there is a contemporary café style evening service at 7 o’clock. Prior to the service at 6pm, we have a time for young people who are attending secondary school to to socialise and eat Pizza (in the Gibson Room). Our next 7pm service is on Sunday 17th March.

Every last Sunday of the month is a shorter family service which includes a Bacon butty and toast.

Activities:

Under Fives Toddler Group runs Monday - Wednesday (doors open at 9:15am) throughout term time in the hall costing £3.50.

‘LinkAge’ runs every Monday between 1 and 4pm. This is a drop-in for anyone who appreciates meeting for conversation, cuppas and some creative activity! This runs from the church foyer.

Future Plans:

We have some big plans to create a hub for the community, as we have been blessed with an amazing hall, 4 side rooms, catering kitchen and youth room (with its own kitchen). We have recently undertaken a survey and found out specific activities that are wanted and therefore are looking to set them up in the coming months.
